Money Centre can cash a cheque made payable to you or your business/company. Please contact one of our Branch staff prior to coming in to ascertain the following;
that the cheque you possess can be cashed,
what documentation is required as for cheques made out to your business or company require additional documentation; and
the fee applicable to that cheque.

Please note that personal cheques, cash cheques, pokie machine cheques and cheques from a company or business not registered on one of the data bases used by Money Centre for cheque verification purposes can not be cashed.
The following identification is required to be submitted along with a completed application form for cashing a cheque for new applicants*:
(1) – photographic – such as driver’s licence, passport, proof of age card, national ID card.
(2) – non - photographic – birth certificate, citizenship certificate, pension card, atm / credit card.
(3) – secondary documents – local government body notice or utilities provider within last 3 months (such as rates notice), ATO notice within last 12 months.
(4) - if cashing a cheque made out to your business or made out to your company please contact your nearest Money Centre Branch to ascertain what additional documentation to that stated above is required.*
